For those so inclined here is a copy of my Master's thesis Stability of Terrestrial-Size Planets in Extra-Solar Planetary Systems (PDF, 633KB). To give you an idea of the content here's the abstract:

	Methods for detecting extrasolar planets are currently
incapable of detecting earth-mass objects. In this thesis
we shall use low-order secular perturbation theory and
numerical simulations to determine whether earth-like
planets may reside within the 47 Ursae Majoris extra-solar
planetary system. Using the latest estimates of the system
parameters, we examine the stability of the basic system
(the star and Jupiter-mass planets) both analytically and
numerically. We investigate the stability of an ensemble
of test particles, by integrating the system for 1 Myr
with an RMVS integrator. We conclude that test-particles
can survive in the 47 UMa system; furthermore we show that
earth-like conditions can be replicated.
